Vyla has been the recipient of a number of awards, research grants and fellowships for her work in the areas of project management and management consulting. Equally significant are her contributions to the body of knowledge in the psychology community and in the field of organisational behaviour both in the UK and in the US.

  • Currie and Brown/ Association of Project Managers Prize
    This prize was awarded in London for an article entitled “Project Management: A Perspective on a Behavioural Based Approach”, which was designated as a topic of general interest in the field of Project Management.
  • Commendation, Board of the Institute of Management Consultants
    Vyla was one of just three individuals commended for consultancy work undertaken with the Board of the Institute of Management Consultants in London. She worked with them to develop their strategy, vision and subsequent organisational change programme.
  • Recipient of Two Richter Foundation Fellowships (Domestic and International)
    The Richter Scholars Fellowship Program is funded by the Paul K. and Evelyn E. Cook Richter Trusts. The Fellowships are awarded to a small number of undergraduate students enrolled at twelve selected US colleges and universities. These provide funding for research proposals deemed “creative as well as meaningful and significant to a wider community”. Vyla’s research fellowships were carried out in San Francisco, California and London, England.
  • Department of Health and Design Council
    In 2013, Vyla’s background with the NHS led to an invitation to join the founding collaborators in the PearsonLloyd team who were selected to develop and implement a set of design solutions in UK Accident & Emergency departments.
